Stretching and exercises for lower back pain

exercsie_child_poseThis is a good stretch for both the upper and lower back. Begin by sitting on the floor on your knees. Gently bend forward and reach out towards the floor in front of you. Imagine your body lengthening.

Once you feel a nice stretch in your back hold the position and breathe slowly and deeply for about 10 seconds.

Lift up and then repeat 10 times.

The more you reach out with your arms the more stretch you will feel in your upper back.
